7. Dream Job
7. What is your dream job, and why?
Reference Here for the Month of March 30 Things Project
This is one of those hard questions that I constantly think with two degrees I should have figured out in my life by now. Alas, no marbles.
I love working with people so ultimately I think my dream job lies somewhere in there. Terry and I joke a lot about opening a kitchen and he'd handle the food; I'd handle the people. Each of us in those roles would keep people coming back. What a commitment though.
If Terry and I could get paid to travel all around the world trying new wines and visiting vineyards, that could be very dreamy. I'd like to start in Australia. :-)
I think I could be great in the medical arena. Not exactly sure in what context, but helping those who are ill and helping their families is just an innate ability I have. I enjoy it.
I do love science. Not exactly the science I'm doing right now, but I could only imagine there's some sort of niche out there that would be "dreamy".
Does everyone else already have this figured out? Am I behind the 8-ball on this?

Hall Bathroom Demo
It's a big hole right now. We got it 90% gutted in two hours last Friday night. Thought you may enjoy a few photos of the demolition.
Frame of reference: This is how we bought it. Ridiculous. I agree.
Mid-Demolition. Literally. Sorry for the sawdust.
My Chemistry goggles were going to come in handy someday, I just knew it!
And for those interested in what our plans are for the vanity; here's a sneak peek! Both found off Craigslist. We're changing them both up (because that's what we do) and giving them a little rehab love, but they are sitting in our garage and I CANNOT WAIT to get going on them!!
Look for updates soon on flooring and wainscoting and paint color (GASP) and floor to ceiling shower curtains. Love it!!

6. Hardest thing ever experienced
6. What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced?
Reference Here for the Month of March 30 Things Project
Losing Linda hands down was the hardest thing I ever experienced. She was my stepmother for 13 years when she passed away in 2005. She battled Breast Cancer for three years before it metastasized to her liver. I loved her so much and miss her still today.
The world was a better place with her in it.

5. 5 Happy Thoughts
5. What are the 5 things that make you most happy right now?
Reference Here for the Month of March 30 Things Project
1. My nieces. Every-time one of the four of them pops in my head I smile, inside and out. I love those little (and now not-so-little) girls so much. And miss them almost as much.
2. Reading. It's one of the newer'ish parts of my life that I really enjoy. I don't get to do it nearly enough, but in the time that I do set aside, it's so fun getting transported off to a far-away world or fall into the mind and emotions of someone other than myself.
3. When I get phone calls. I love catching up with people in my life. Getting perspective.
4. Kristens Graduation from High School. Time has flown and it's right around the corner. I'm starting to stalk for cheap flights back east for her big day.
And this is where I paused for a very substantial amount of time. I should be able to list 5 things pretty easy, right? Right?! I think about working on the house as something that makes me happy right now, but then I think about having to put it on the market very soon and happyville goes right out the window. I think about upcoming adventures and vacations to go on, but I have absolutely nothing on the books. Everything revolves around this move. I think about getting out of this job that gives me no sense of accomplishment, but then I think about being without a job in a few months and that's even worse.
I suppose that this one will work.
5. I'm happy thinking about in 6 months from now, my life should have some stability in it.

4. 16-yr old self
(hilarious, right?!)
Reference Here for the Month of March 30 Things Project
1. Stop worrying so much about college; you're going to get into a good school, and you're going to escape Delaware. STOP WORRYING
2. Spend more time with Linda. You won't have any regrets when your my age about the time that you did get with her, but it'd always be nice to have more knowing what I know now.
3. Megan is one of your truest girlfriends. Make sure you tell her all the time how important she is in your life.
4. You have every reason to be mad at Mom about not letting you drive. Try to somehow understand it's out of her control. She's having a really difficult time letting go.
5. You want to be a Doctor. Stop being so scared about more school and more tests. You want to help people and make them better. Please figure out a way to stop being so indecisive about this and just do it!
6. Babysit even more than you already do. You're awesome with kids, you'll make a difference in their lives.
7. Try and go spend more time with Mom-mom and Pop-pop even though you're not allowed to. They're really awesome and wish they were able to see you more.
8. Don't do stupid things while you're in Hawaii. It's a great overall experience, just don't be stupid.
9. Even though Mom won't let you, try and figure out a way to keep Tyla in your life. She was a good friend to you.
10. You're allowed to cry at school on September 11th. You don't have to run to the bathroom to sob. Everyone will be sad about it. For a long time.
